This past Memorial Day weekend, the Rotary Club of Simi Valley staged the 22^nd Annual Simi Valley Cajun and Blues Music Festival. All proceeds from this event went to several local charities. It was the second year that festival organizers included a blues stage. It appeared that on the blues side of the large festival grounds the attendance almost doubled. We hope this trend will signal an ongoing relationship with this event and the blues community here in Southern California.
